The multi-band radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal generated from multiple locations around the world (the U.S., UK, Germany, and Japan), and it has an auto receive function (up to 6 hours per day). You can choose to automatically receive this signal four times a day, or manually update the clock with atomic clock.
Reviews
This is the only clock that I have been owners of necessary repairs. Casio THIS has been sent (my expense) and repaired and two (2) repair center DIFFERENT still has problems. R r RLIKE others have said, I can not get the role of altimeter to work around the clock to 24 period. My coworkers also has the same problem. Yesterday -60 showed his feet and now stands at 220 feet, all from the same desktop. My PAw new faces-1500T-7V NEVER even worked with the Casio altimeter Tech Center confirm the settings with my local temperature / barometric pressure. I did pay the shipping repair center in California to replace sensor module. I found after the repair and return the altimeter continued to swing 40 to -60 + 220 to -120 on all of my same location (which is high. 33ft.) Altimeter watch this not work for a period of 24 hours if you switch to any other way (time, etc..) overnight. Then I said to send the New Jersey repair center (again had to pay the shipping) for a pleasant customer agent told me that questions about the replacement policy. New Jersey follows the agent told me that the replacement only if it could not repair the clock. The next day, I left a message that New Jersey repair center found that the clock was working and could not find problems. I immediately asked that his request was verified over a period of 24 hours to maintain a reasonable reading of the altimeter before I came back. I was told the supervisor of the repair center was in the other line and could not talk to me. I left my phone number and asked if he could please return the call. No call by the supervisor that day, only an email that was sent the watch back to me in the afternoon. Rone of my requests for repairs to the original repair center in California was under the wrapping of the moon I guess it has some relation with the function of the tide. In about a 11-10-09 I have now discovered that "high tide " was not fit to remain in any evening (PM), configuration, only during the day (AM). Another feature that does not work on a new watch! I started a tough battle for a full refund, I hope with all my shipping. RI warns that if you get a Casio watch bad, You 're the money and lost time with all my problems. Love as a repair center in New Jersey to the ships back to you as if you 're an idiot with any information regarding problems that ' ve experienced in the clock. R Rit 's your money, is willing TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY ???!!!! R11-15-09
I got this watch for my husband because he has a lot of really cool features. Unfortunately, it is so great that it seems absolutely ridiculous on his arm. Seriously, HUGE. Also, be warned that Amazon is really strict about its return policy to 30 days. So, if you get and hate mail it back ASAP. Now we are stuck with an attack clock for Fred Flintstone.
I need a new watch, my people wasn 't cutting it. And I headed for the west a week in the mountains. R Ruponen arrival, my clock is also protected in its packing, I must say, I wasn 't expect thick package design. The manual is small, but easy to read. I haven 't had any problems with the study of the functions to watch. If I 't figure it myself a quick look in the manual is all I need to school myself to r rthe tribulation what my trip to WY. The titanium band is extremely light, and never felt too heavy or got in the way during the long day of hunting. Using topo maps check the accuracy of the altitude and compass features. Altitude is usually within 20ft of altitude on the map and compass degrees within 5-6 degrees around my Silva. R ri is for products over a month now, and I am extremely pleased with its performance. I would recommend it to anyone who spends much time outdoors, hikers, hunters, fishermen.
So many functions. I bought mainly for the function of the tide to find myself using most of the other functions. Easy to learn. Lightweight and comfortable.
After weeks of research on the web and I finally committed to buying this watch about two weeks ago. R mice first sight, this titanium watch rather subtle. Touch of the band is nice and smooth. Although very light, it doesn 't feel cheap. In fact, the right balance. Pathfinder G-Shock and the famous series of size, and this one is no exception. LCD layout is excellent. It 's informative but not too busy like the Citizen Skyhawk. R rall ABC meterings right on. I had to reset the altimeter at sea level but has been very accurate since. I didn 't have to do another calibration for Barometer and Compass at all. R rthe logic control buttons are placed outside. However, I advise the owners to take a cup of coffee, sit in a quiet area, and spent about 1 hour to read the entire manual. It 's thick and lenghthy. But Once you understand the logic to set the watch, it 's relatively easy. R rSolar battery is awesome. I put my hand under my desk lamp that will apply at night. I have never run into any low battery problems at all. Level indicator always shows "H " igh. R rAtomic sync is another great feature. I live in Sunnyvale, California. I put my watch by my night stand and syncs every night without any problems. I don 't even have to put it on the side window. R rConclusion: Great to watch in general. There are three things that can be corrected: 1: User Manual could be better written. 2: The alarm is too soft 3: illuminator only live about 3 seconds Which is rather short. If you wake up in the middle of the night, you should be very wary of displaying a short time to read just for 3 seconds. Indeed you can press the button to turn it back again. R rSuunto far more stylish than the Pathfinder, but the quality has been built today under the standard. Casio Pathfinder is like a Toyota Camry. It 's not in the same style you see it, but doing very well and reliable. Expectations two cents helps.
Functions as described but with touches I had not picked up when reading about it. For example, in a dark room watching TV or at a movie and need to check the time? No fumbling for the light button, just tilt wrist to normal viewing angel and the watch face illuminates briefly. And, the "home " screen packs quite a bit of information in an easy-to-decipher interface: time and date of course but also a graph of changing barometric pressures - oops, looks like a change in the weather is coming - and TIDES show in a simple graphic display. Phase of the moon is there, too. Surprisingly, this display does not seem cluttered and my middle-age eyes can still read the time without the reading glasses (2:50) on. R rNot for those who are gadget-challenging. Need to spend a fair amount of time, initially, setting preferred units, getting a time sync, and such and, if you want accuracy, feeding in the actual high tide time, pressure, temperature, altitude, and magnetic declination for your area. Nice thing, of course, is that you can do precisely such, overriding the defaults with better local information. Instruction book is a real challenge but will, with trial and error, get you there. Complex enough that I will only remember the basic functions (eg, setting an alarm) if it is something I do regularly and then, only after doing so a number of times. For the more complicated stuff, got to keep that manual around. r race the manual points out, automatic time setting does not work if watch is not Laying still. Have to lay it on a window Sill with 12 o 'clock pointing out. So, don 't expect to have watch reset to "atomic time " on the fly. Golly, could possibly mean being milliseconds off now and then. :-) r rAdjusting the band is not for the timid. I am used to doing so and have the tool to pop the pins. It is necessary to have such a tool. Came with no directions on how to remove links from the band. Do pay attention to the arrows on the inside of the band links. They let you know what direction to pop. And, there are several tiny parts to potentially lose: the pins and the even smaller seats that lodge into the pins. If you are not used to messing with such bands, save the money on the tools and have a local Jeweler do the adjusting for you. Paying this much for a watch, why not a few dollars more for a professional (and stress-free) fitness. R rI believe the watch is attractive although that 's not what I bought it for. Not too heavy and well-proportioned given it 's size. I am a fairly large fellow and so looks OK on my wrist; might seem too big on a smaller arm.
Since Amazon already declared all the functions of the clock I am not going to be redundant, but I will try to offer my opinion on the overall functionality and value of this device. R rPros: The clock is very robust and durable. It is powered by solar energy, so there isn 't worry about replacing the battery every two years. Although quite large, the clock is not too heavy and does not look strange or even ridiculously small for my wrist. It has a ton of features that pretty much as advertised and could be very helpful, depending on the activity. R rCon: Not a con, per se, but rather a warning - some readings are somewhat imprecise, altimeter 's margin of error is + / - 100 meters, thermometers is' s margin of error is + / - 4C (although not at the wrist), barometer 's error rate is + / - 15 hPa I have not been able to get a signal for synchronizing with the atomic clock and I have tried everything mentioned in the manual. The compass is available only for 15 seconds, after which you hold the key to regain access to be accessed. I suppose it is about the battery issues. R rOverall: I wish I had the opportunity to give it 4.5 star, but Amazon is not possible. Mean, 5 discount does not apply to the ability to synchronize with the atomic clock, which is a rather important feature of the clock. What am I as a slight measurement inaccuracies not deducting any points for $ 260 since you do not honestly expect a device on the wrist is 100% accurate measurement of pressure, temperature and altitude. Basically, the clock is exactly what it purports to be, neither more nor less, and I think it 's pretty for all that it offers affordable, I definitely recommend it.
Many other people have commented on the features of the watch, and this is part of an impressive technology. R rThere However, BUYER BEWARE has a problem with watching the band. Adjust the band without buying one gadget elimination of the link will be almost impossible, and it was very difficult. Casio has NO information given in the manual about the hours the band. When I contacted them, they sent me a pdf file with instructions to adjust the five bands to watch different, no one applied to the band in 1500. When I spoke a second time to their customer service is the only solution is to go to a jewelry store if needed links to be removed. In the end, by using the link remover I can make adjustments, but it was quite complicated, and requires great attention to not lose a small metal cylinder that holds the links together. Casio's desperate for me un-helpful in the process.
Pathfinders are part of Casio 's online outdoors that are designed for hiking and skiing. This model has a compass, barometer, thermometer, altimeter, chronograph and built along with a tide graph and moon age. It is water resistant to 200 feet, that works very well. I loved when normal atomic and solar load. That means that the act contains no batteries to change clock, no wind, nothing establishes when the time changes. Something that can only make and even worry. R rThis thing is huge, believe that a watch is 50 mm, but is very light on the wrist of meterials Because it is made. The titanium is very strong but light meterial. Because it is so great that this is not something 't something you can use it as a dress watch. It isn 't see her without a formal, it is a watch if you want to get lost in the forest or when you go skiing.
The main reason for my title, it is necessary to pay attention to much adjustment. Without specific knowledge, it is too difficult to use most of the options on this show. And I was not disappointed that I found the instructions on the Russian language in the packaging of goods. But the rest is wonderful. Light shows, beautiful bracelet comfortable and cozy.
Upgrade my pathfinder Pag-50 (solar) with this clock. Clock that is still going strong after 6 years. This is a very solid feeling watch. The profile appears somewhat smaller than my old watch and the weight is about the same. I like the black bezel to Gray. The watch band came several sizes too big and need to delete one or more links. Not a difficult task, you can use a large paperclip and a couple of plays or use the pin remover offer. Just keep in mind is a 1 / 8 "long insert in each link (to keep the pin in place) that fall off and get lost if not careful. As my old watch, I want the band to fit tight and not move around, so I removed the two links. Another "fine " adjustment to grip. You are likely to love or hate metal band. I love the Titanium Bands They are very durable and don 't require frequent replacement. Setting up the clock using the manual is not difficult. I must say I impressed Amazon ' s price and shipping. I went in 1 day option delivery. I received less than 23 minutes to a rural location 60 miles north of Denver. Rob
All this is simply a large clock. I 've now owned about a year, and I can honestly say that I ' m no longer looking for another watch, and this is a watch geek. From my home, I synchronize with the Colorado night, without major problems. Then, comparing computer time / TV time, It 's just in time. It 's solar-powered, and I have always had a "high " power rating. Tides are predicted when going on vacation. It's a big clock, but it 's also very light. I think the barometer to be a good indicator for predicting weather patterns, the time you 're on the same level, as documented in the manual.
Almost a perfect watch ..! RI live in Monterrey, Mexico and every night it gets the atomic time from the radio station in Colorado. Rthe temperature, barometer, compass, altimeter and the are not very accurate. Rthe automatic light and the solar batery are very good. rthe design is very nice to use it every day, not only for outdoors rOnly one thing ... For the price, I expected a litle bit more accurate funcions. rRams.
All features are exactly what I need. As a Navy sailor deployed, it is a fantastic toolset and highly recommended for any military member or person in outdoor activities. Recommendation - shopping, especially on auction sites - I was able to get the titanium version for less than $ 200 beans. This watch is the best investment I 've ever done.
This watch is HUGE. It 's bigger than my G-Shock watch. The titanium band is surprisingly comfortable. When is it on my wrist, I sometimes forget I was wearing it. It 'sa bit tricky to adjust the band yourself. You have to use a very small paper clip or something small to push the pin out. R rThe only bummer is i would say the temperature is not accurate reading of the surrounding environment if you are wearing it. To measure the ambient temp, you have to set it aside for 20 minutes. I agree with some of the reviews about the compass also --- it will be great if there 's continuous reading. The Night Light should also stay on a bit longer or make it adjustable. R rComments aside, this is all-n-all a very good watch.
Again, I choose this clock because it is titanium and I like the look and the features of TI. This clock has a large face, as most modern watches for men. The band was very big, so I removed two links had to allow a loose fit on my medium / medium-large wrists. So far I enjoy the features of this clock and the style very much. This can be seen in my life right now.
I bought this watch as a kind of Rugged Sport Watch for the gym, skiing, mountain biking, etc.. I also liked the idea of solar energy, such as a watch battery replaced sometimes troublesome. R rThe watching is OK, although watching 's poor measurement capability. Don 't expect the altitude readings or temperature readings are in place close to accurate. I have read the manual and the altitude is not known that the only accurate within 300ft. I've seen a cheap wristwatch provides accuracy within 10ft, so if you plan on using this watch for these functions, look elsewhere. R rThat side, a watch has some nice functions (the backlight light up if you move the watch Downward 90 degrees; lightweight, strong build quality), but for the price I expected more.
This thing rocks! Besides all the tons of features, Casio will restore the old-school way of calibrating Baro pressure as a scalar offset to "true " pressure. So, like the old Sponge-40 's, can be cal ' d sea-level equivalent pressure, without disturbance occurs. Clearly, the altimeter may vary based on time / temp / press / month, but that is expected. R rWhile the manual warns about the need to expose the solar cell to face the sunlight, ~ 5mins/day is all required to maintain full charge. The power-down mode to let it run for ~ 4 days without light, and it still has a full charge. R rthe EL light ( "fool-glo ") is unclear as well as the battery-powered watch, and not as bright as the real old G-shock Microlights, but more useable for Readings night. R rit is a large, heavy watch, just the way I want them!
I 've had many great hours in adults over 30 years - from cheap to my beloved Timex Movado - but it is ONE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL! Why "special "? Because, simply, that everything is advertised to do, and that's not good, and with a touch of class! R rCasio clearly put much thought into the design of this watch and its features. Digital compass is the most accurate and snappiest I've found in a watch. The altimeter is a gem .... accurate to within 5 meters (or approximately 20 feet). Very sensitive barometer and charts trends in the face of hours has proved very useful. The thermometer works great and, if left short distance from the heating effect of the skin, very accurate and sensitive. Update atomic clock works like a charm here in Virginia ..... takes about 3 minutes for an accurate "fix " every night. Motion sensor lights in dark areas side when you tilt the view in the direction you face great .... especially in the dark car when you can 't take your hands from the wheel to check the time ... . but the clock face will light up when you angle the arms toward your face. Now how cool is that ????!!!! R RA a few lessons since I brought home this gem: read the owner 's manual! Yes, it 's complicated and will take several hours to go through a careful .... but it will save you endless frustration and this watch will fit exactly your own needs and desires. It 'sa VERY complex to watch ..... but once you get it set up (ie, power-use mode; Português or metric measurements; pairs assigned to the beach, etc. ....), it becomes a very useful tool that you will consult often Thought every day and night. R RA second lesson: follow the instructions CAREFULLY and calibrate your "reference height " and barometer. The best instructions for doing this together, and taking into account the temperature, is very important and well laid out to the END of the instruction manual .... in "reference " section. Accurate calibration of the altimeter and barometer depends on the ambient temperature .... so read the instructions .... they are well written and takes you step-by-step through a short process. R rThis can watch looks great ..... but it 's not as big as the other watches I've owned. It 's thinner than a G-Shock ..... and sat on my wrist is very slim, quite good. This hour is designed to wear long-sleeved clothing OUTSIDE to allow proper charging of the battery of the sun .... and most useful as a reference instrument! When wearing short-sleeved shirts or Ts, I put 1 "sports bracelet on my wrist and put the first .... watch it. Works like a champ ..... and Tend to keep the thermometer, barometer, altimeter far more accurate with a separation of body temperature. (I use Under Armor 1 "Performance bracelet under an hour ..... and they disappeared under an hour ... but allow an hour to sit very confortably and secure on your wrist .... but not add significantly mass. "You can find them here at Amazon (good price!) and in the shops sporting goods.) r rbottom line: if you enjoy cutting - edge of technical gadgets that worked REAL WELL ..... AND serve a useful purpose ..... and enjoy first-class quality ...... AND great support from the people at Casio (see their website!) this ..... is watching for you. It 's gem!
It will not hold power, the functions are not accurate, and it is a complete waste of money.
The review below, where the main features of this watch is complete and therefore does not cover this. R ri initially had trouble removing links between looking over to the pin as there is also an inner "block " about 2 mm long necklace that is inserted into the center section of each link. R r This collar did not notice at first, and fell to the floor when I removed the link. Without this piece Pin 's will just slide through the links with no locking mechanism. R RI do a lot of outdoor activities, and this is a great watch for them.
This watch exceeded my expectations. I did a whole lot of research on watches before I decide on this. And I do not regret for one second. The clock has served me at work, the ocean and the desert. The dead time due to updates (checked with an atomic clock, less than 1 / 16 of a second off I) live on the west coast and the tide and moon graphics are in place. Also the compass, altimeter, barometer and are quite accurate. (I checked all of these resources against other professional equipment). If you are reasonable intelligence, this watch is very easy to operate. A board, however, study your manual !!!!!
Took my new Clock JC Pennys yesterday and 25% + 15% Coupon ~ U.S. $ 255.00. Watch is awsome. A clock, the ultimate Clock geeks. RThe barometer is defined very precisely once and altimiter can be a little touchy. The thermometer function is more accurate if the clock does not take 20 minutes and not kept in the sun. Since I live in Ohio, the tidal feature is pretty useless, but the moon looks cool feature. ROverall I am very happy with the clock, I agree wish it were a ribbon of stainless steel and titanium, which is not easily scratched
Its a great watch, well worth the money. I can see it in the dark and world time feature is useful as well having the 5 alam feature and I can swim with it. Its a well designed watch.
I / m blown away from the design of the product. very light even for the size of the watch. Userfriendly and very accurate in the data. I love hiking during the altimeter and the compass helps for easy use of reading maps. Rhavis not been so exited for a long time when buying a watch
