Description

Ideal for rugged adventurers and weekend warriors, solar energy, men watch Casio Pathfinder sport is loaded with a digital compass and altimeter / barometer / thermometer - perfect for both mountain trekking and caving cave. It also includes charts of tides and the moon and moon age data, and is very accurate, thanks to its traditional functions of atomic clock. The altimeter offers 5-meter measures -700 to 10,000 feet, and can store altitude, month, date and time data, provide tendency and differential graphs, track cumulative ascent / descent, and raised the alarm when it arrives a certain height. The clock also has a digital compass with 16 points as shown on the dial face. Other environmental characteristics and timing include: Barometer with atmospheric pressure tendency / differential graphics Thermometer world time: 29 time zones (30 cities), city code, daylight saving on / off 5 Daily Alarms 1 / 100 second timer with 24-hour capacity and elapsed time and part-time modes of 1 to 2 times the site with countdown timer 60-minute interval Automatic Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099) This clock also has an accuracy of ± 20 seconds per month, Afterglow backlight, water resistance and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet) - that faced the rigors of recreational diving. This solar watch battery lasts up to 5 months in a full charge (without further exposure to light). This multi-band radio controlled clock receives the time calibration signal transmitted from various places around the world (USA, UK, Germany and Japan), and has a function of automatic reception (up to 6 times day). You can choose to automatically receive the signal four times a day, or manually update the clock with the atomic clock.

Reviews

This is by far the Best Outdoor shows period. The watch is all (if calibrated) correctly. The build quality is second to none. Extremely robust. Great size, not too heavy at all. The feature list just keeps going.

Pretty fun to watch, getting to know it does not require some time unless you are familiar with this series. It 's also much more compact than I thought it would be, my last G-Shock Sun about a half off my wrist at the top! It paw1500-1V pathfinder combines features Seafinder also. Looking for hard, hard act! I like the compass bezel is a bit more tactical and less shiny, but it 's not that ' t be solved with some ingenuity.

this watch is so good that there will be items that you never use. would definitely recommend to anyone.

I bought this product back in 30 days and then some users find that the "Configure " button lost. Used only twice, once to set the time zone and the second time to set the alarm. Now, it is difficult to use this button. I halfway around the world now and I don 't think there is a chance to change it. It hurts to realize the money I lost it! I have no idea what to do now. I have written to Casio and is awaiting their comments.

The following watch Casio 's penchant for both high-tech gear. R rthe clock phases of the moon as well as offering fish alarm time and the price is very reasonable and offers useful features for anyone.

I bought this watch about 8 months ago and have used it regularly when hiking or climbing. I am a lover of this sport watches Casio (G-Shock) for a long time. I first got this watch for a hike with what 's altimeter will be useful as it is on my wrist. I always hike with a Garmin Rino 530HCx, which is a GPS, Radio, Moving Map, and altimeter. But it attaches to the front of my backpack 's shoulder and is not always convenient to read w / o unclipping and reading. R rthe 1500 watch is perfect for this. At the trailhead I turn on the GPS, find a remedy, read the elevation, and then set the Casio 1500 to this height. It 's usually quite close to it ' s, but is not always perfect. Then I begin my walk. Most of my trips to the high TH by a lake or mountain peak that I know the elevation of. So I use the clock to determine how I am doing and how much time I spend. In collaboration with the Garmin GPS that 'sa wonderful combo. R rThis is my first watch solar powered and was also one of the reasons why I took. Without batteries more. Not by chance you are going to die when the batteries on a week long adventure somewhere (which happened with my battery quartz watches). My watch is kept charged, even though on my desk in my office for weeks at a time and becomes the only light comes from a window 10 'on. R rI have actually used the back lot of light that many people complain, as I don 't hike during the night. I 'm old, when he ' s dark I 'm likely to be inside. R RAS to synchronize atomic time: no problem at all. Once again, my watch is usually on my desk in my house and get the time signal well. Actually there 'sa on-screen clock to inform you when the last sync. Never a problem. I live in the western United States. R rthe thermometer is accurate until the clock is not on the wrist. Eleven It takes 5-10 minutes off the wrist to be exact. Unfortunately, since I am a mammal and 'sa look you can ' t measure wind chill. Darn. :-) R Rall in all this is a great watch for the $ $ especially if you buy a place like Amazon for sale. I expect this watch to last for 10 years and thousands and thousands of miles of footpaths. I think part of my survival kit hiking.

If the Protrek PRG 130 is available in your area, it is best to get what the PAW 1500. The multi-function band Atomic Timekeeping 5 is not very helpful at all, since you will need to put the clock near a window at night to get a clear signal to the update. R rWith many of us have GPS units, they can easily get the update of the synchronization of its clock to the time in place. GPS time synchronization is also a ground-based atomic time keeping facilities. R rBoth models are identical in features. The price difference is what you pay for the atomic time-keeping function. Maybe not worth the price difference.

This is a phenomenal show. It is as hard as the G-shocks, and it has a strong look beautiful for him. Receiving the duration of night cooling has never failed, and I don 't even take the watch off. The compass is as precise as advertising. The function of the barometric pressure is still in the ballpark with the local report, and his way of showing that the steady trend upward or downward is commendable. The tide and moon graphics are very accurate and valuable to people like me who spend time on the beach and the ocean. The instruction manual is simple, and functions of the shows are wonderfully intuitive. The Downer only altimeter. I 'd be as efficient in terms of a Ouija board. C 'is not a value I function if I don ' t whine about it. Nice work, Amazon and Casio.

Just pick up the PAW1500-1V - all things considered, Pathfinder is my favorite yet! R rWith moon and tide graphs, along with the compass, altimeter, barometer, thermometer, countdown timer, stopwatch, five alarms, world time, Hourly Chime, solar energy, resistance to extreme temperatures, saving energy, radio Atomic Timekeeping - view simply has it all! R rthe PAW1500 is a fantastic looking watch. R ri also property of the models below: r rPaw-1300g rPaw-1200-1V rPAG-40 (newer resin Band - green / gray) rPAG-40B2V (Blue w / Nylon Band ) rA some other models I Don 't have the numbers of r in response to someone else ' s complaint about the backlight - I agree that I could stay longer (and I seek a how to set this, but unfortunately there isn 't), but unlike the CPA-40, this watch features a much better automatic backlight as this watch has a light sensor so it won ' t activate the backlight automatically when you 're in a position with a lot of sunlight. PAG-40 automatic backlight fires regardless of the condition or the amount of sunlight. Furthermore, being that the PAG-40 's auto-backlight button is linked to the Barometer, which continually goes out, as they invariably would be affected by my hand during the day if you bend the wrist. Finally, being a watch solar-Don 't have to worry about the leakage of the battery with the backlight on the 1500 car. A as a response to a critic of other 's complaint about the band - I have a solution and created what I consider to be the last appearance Pathfinder. R ri like bands too plastic resin. The band doesn 't stay in the band holder and the plastic strips also feel uncomfortable after hours in my wrist. R Rusing the black plastic band 'piece entitled ' of the PAG-40B2V (that easily bolt in the PAW-1500) I have attached a nylon strap multi-band with quick release buckle a Casio G-Shock G2110V that actually creates the final, robust looking Pathfinder watch. R rthe G2110V Multi-band nylon strap is wide and makes the clock more balanced than the watch suits the large bandwidth. I 've been looking for the latest in search and conduct active surveillance and I ' ve finally been able to create it. R rThis setting also works and looks great with the Green / Gray / Black PAG-40 (however, if You 're buying from scratch, the 1500 ' s extra solar energy, time normal atomic and countdown timer features auto backlight that is a better buy). R rTry that if you have the chance!

This is my favorite watch! It picks up the radio signal anywhere in my house. The only think that docks to stare is the wrist strap; heair Its constintly pulling my arm unless I get it just Wright, but other then that Fantastic!

I was debating on getting this watch or the PAW1300 series, since they are pretty much the same features. I had no need for the tide information. I am a pilot so I wanted to have the other options. I didn 't want a gray bezel, but wanted the resin strap. So the problem with the gray bezel is that it makes the watch look cheap and walmart 'ish. Besides that the watch is huge. I own a Citizen Atomic Skyhawk from, and I thought that was big and that the watch PAW1500 wouldn 't be any bigger. But it is, and I just felt kinda funny about it. I ended up returning it and getting the 1300 series, which was definitely better fitting. So if you don 't mind a huge watch, then this would work out for you. I would still recommend the 1300 series because it 's more casual.

I just got this watch and I really like. As a fly fishing guide / fisheries biologist, I found a very useful tool. For a watch that I found his occasional "quite useful data. I have found to be accurate barometer of .05 inPb and altimeter accurate within 60-100 feet ... What more can I ask for a watch . If I need more accurate data, I use the precise scientific equipment (which costs thousands of dollars and calibration of the needs of more of the clock). To the casual user (hiker, cyclist, fisherman / woman) that is sufficiently close. R rthe Tempermental compass is a bit, but the large outdoor works Once calibrated (readings are a bit dubious on the inside, near power lines or electronic equipment). The flood of data from the moon is big and can specify exact locations. For the thermometer to work accurately, the clock must be off your wrist for 20-30 minutes. This is probably the biggest blow in this watch is the ultimate goal temperature of my concerns. R rthe biggest downfall of most of the watches in this work on the road eat a lot of batteries. Well, I found the solar battery more appropriate. Just leave it exposed to sunlight for 5-10 minutes and is fully charged. Also, if you set the clock "energy saving " mode, automatically goes to sleep when not exposed to light for more than 60 minutes. R rthe light may be to allow "light automatic. "Enable this feature and the clock to rotate> 40 degrees and the light stays on until you move

Much has been said about this watch, so I 'll just add some notes and more. RI like this version better than the band of titanium. First, the combination of colors is more to my liking. Easier to match black. Secondly, it 's much more convenient. If you 're going to wear this outside, possibly as sports or hiking, then you might prefer the band resin for the band of titanium, especially considering how he feels on a hot day when you ' re sweating. I prefer the resin. RNext R, this watch looks pretty good in person. It looks a bit strange to have a huge display, but it doesn 't look near as bad as it does in the photos online. If you 're unsure about it, you should definitely go to a store and try it. R Ras others have said, the function of thermometer is largely useless. Not only is it necessary to remove the watch from her arm, but is it necessary to wait about 10 minutes to get close to what the actual temperature. This is no joke, like the other day I measured the temperature to 73 degrees in my office (right thermometer on my desk), but the clock said it was 86 degrees. So I took the watch off and press the button all-time minutes. Every minute that he would come down about a degree and a half. It took so long that I finally just resigned to wait. Rthe functions are really nifty. We do not need all these features? No. I'm super cool? Absolutely. Toy RFun! R rI bought this watch just before leaving for Japan for the holidays. Now, when I arrive in Japan and can 't understand what the north, I ' ll have a compass on my wrist! Is a barometer so I can understand if the rain is coming (it 's raining there this weekend). And an altimeter for when I hike Fuji-san. And a tide graph for when I go surfing. And ultra-anti-water, so I don 't have to worry about leaving the watch on the beach. And one day / mode / data Worldtime so I 'm always oriented. And an atomic clock so I won 't have re-set the clock. And a warning so I 'll wake up in time. And a backlight auto so 'I can see all this during the night alone by tilting the wrist at an angle and with the light to turn. RIS of all this is necessary? Probably not. But it certainly was fun to write that out ... R =)

My old clock gave up the ghost, so recently, it was time to find another. Digital Watches lacks the elegance of the mechanical type, or traditional jewelry watches. I thought it would be fun, a digital clock that will make themselves for these deficits would. The Casio PAW1500 fits the bill very nicely. Bodies can keep your time with his WWV receiver. How about using a compass, altimeter, barometer, tide and moon phase? They all work very well, not quite perfect, but pretty good. For fun, I most of the features daily. What did the thermometer are some limitations. If you really must know the air temperature. You 'll need to make it from the wrist for a few minutes in warm What a shame. All the other typical features such as stopwatch, world clock, etc. perform as expected 'd. The alarm works well, unless it is not nearly as loud as my old clock. Overall, I like this clock a lot, but gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for the above-mentioned shortcomings. Remember when I lost it I 'd get another as soon as possible.

super quik delivery and watched all I am looking for:)

Just not for $ 200, You 're getting something close to perfection. While I understand that the compass, barometer, thermometer and are not even close to accurate when used in the wrist, which was not 't until I realized how much you spend on anything but the perfect shirt, I realized how ridiculous that property is something like this. I needed a watch to replace my G-Shock, who finally gave in October'm active outdoors, and for some reason, I thought this would be a nice thing to own. In the end, what's the point? None of the features can be invoked. R r I went and bought this other G-shock.

I think for the money you can 't find a better outdoor utility watch. ri have owned many pieces from time to Citizens and Rolex watch I like this very much. I don 't think some of the features are the most accurate, but what do you expect for the price. Seems very durable.

This watch functions as described and, given the price competition, providing a decent value for money. I need time for a digital watch for racing yachts started (I was 15 years Casio has died). I decided that I would use it for everyday outdoor activities, hunting, fishing and hiking and generally exploring the sound altitude, barometer, compass and tide are important features. As I said all these features function as advertised, and I am generally pleased with the purchase. I'll start with a note on the things that could be better. Altimeter barometer and not related to each other, so the setting does not affect the height of the barometer reading. Barometer environment effectively without the sea level barometric correction, and only as accurate as your altimeter at an altitude some references to know where a particular day. It would be nice to have some functions Altimeter (seems like the other models do) as the accumulated ascent / descent, and ascent / descent rate functions (max, average, now). R rThe Tide functions, accurate in the location that you need when you first enter the high wave days, then counted the next Tides. Unfortunately it was not active with the Tide a few minutes to vote after a few days you need to check the tide tables and reset the time, at least that is the case of Santa Cruz all the functionality is kind of interesting, but cute. R ron positive side-hour comfortable to use, intuitive and simple interface for navigation, lighting effective and easy to find and activate in the dark. The accuracy of time (atomic clock) is also funny, but it works well in my area and get updates every night, making the time to consistently accurate as GPS (I had recently at a hotel in Orlando, where he has had updates, but the accurate time to live). Compass function works well and seems quite accurate. Racing yacht countdown timer is easy to manage and update during the sequence and easy to read. This is very nice to be able to see the same time presented as a countdown timer. R rin I generally satisfied with the product and would recommend it.

Been wearing the watch for a couple of weeks and love it! Readability Atomic / solar, FIT / finish, just a fantastic watch. Have passed through the functions quickly and everyone worked well. They had a series of Casio G Shock Pathfinder and this is my favorite so far. This is what a G should be! Don 't hesitate, if you are looking for a watch in this category or if you just want a fun, watch indestructible!

but just keep watching time is WAY too much. Place the chart is not so accurate, moon phase indicator, altimeter was so so but it felt a little shady considering incraments only important in 20ft from the Suunto than 10ft. It seems a little less accurate during the walk and rides. Mode button sticks when a bad cold. Bezzel compass to move much easier with a simple brush of a shirt sleeve, leaving you with a very innacurate post. You should really 't use this watch as a single source but if they ' re going to cost more than it was a better job.

This is a very good wacth. It is aptly named The Pathfinder

For those who aren 't familiar with atomic time watches, it works something like this. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) maintains the super-accurate clocks Cesium atom and hydrogen atom (hence "atomic time"). Astronomical observations from the U.S. Naval Observatory are used to keep the atomic clocks in synch with the current rotation of the Earth and its orbit around the sun. The resulting time information is then broadcast via short wave radio from Fort Collins, Colorado. An "atomic time " watch picks up the radio signal and adjust its time to match it. Simply leave your watch near a window at night, and it will automatically adjust the time. Your watch will always be super-accurate within a fraction of a second (at least theoretically). R r 've had many Casio watches over the years including a solar powered Casio G-Shock Atomic WITH TIME THAT I ' ve had now for 5 / 6 years. It still works perfectly. It 's been in very hot weather, sub-zero cold weather, in the ocean, in the snow, in high-pressure car wash, in the luggage compartments at 40.000 feet, and it still works perfectly. The Damn watch won 't die! The only reason I bought a new Pathfinder because I felt I was due for a new watch. I don 't need an altimeter, barometer, compass, moon phase indicator nor Tide, I just wanted a new watch Damn! R rThat being said, the Pathfinder PAW1500-1V is a really cool watch for gadget lovers. You can view the phase of the moon for the current date as well as for any other date. Not only can you view the Tide for the current time and place, you can see "lunitidal range ", or whether it is Spring Tide Neap Tide (I don 't know - ask a surfer), and you can get this information for any time on any date. R rin addition to the current Barometric pressure, you can display a graph of the trend of Barometric pressure readings to help forecast the weather. And then there 's compass, an altimeter, world time (all 29 time zones - yes, there ' s 29 - not 24), countdown timer, and 5 alarms. The Atomic Time feature also works in most of Europe and Japan (they have their own atomic time Broadcast) as well as most of the U.S. and parts of Canada. R meu of this is solar powered. So long as the watch gets a little sunlight now and then, you never need to replace the battery. Did I mention that that this watch is water resistant to 200 meters? R rif past experience with Casio watches is a year indicator, I expect my PAW1500-1V to be an extremely durable and reliable watch for many years. BTW, it is really cool looking, and you 'll want it to be visible the next time you ' re in the conference room where everyone else is wearing those bogus diving watches.

I recently received this watch as a gift, as I already owned a Casio Pathfinder PAW1300G-1V (the earlier model), and it was thought that I would appreciate the upgrade. R also short, this is a nice watch, but there aren 't that many features over the PAW1300 line to justify the increased size. Unfortunately, in spite of these new features, I find that I still go back to the PAW1300 as my daily watch, simply because it 'sa better package as a whole. R rThere are three major new features in the PAW1500 series that are not in the PAW1300: r r - Tide calculator r - Moon phase calculator r - Water resistant to 200m (instead of 100m) r rThe increased water resistance is terrific, as this turns into the Pathfinder an actual diving watch, instead of a mere snorkeling watch. But the other two features, in my opinion, are underwhelming, and the cost in the module 's case-size are quite great. R RTO Whit: the PAW1300 is 47.4mm and 11.5mm thick round. The PAW1500 is 51mm round and 13.9mm thick. This may not sound like a big difference, but side-by-side, it 's palpable. Before obtaining this watch, the PAW1300G-1V was the largest one I owned (in a close tie with the Seiko Orange Monster). Now watch this completely dwarfs it. It 's so big, I feel like I can use this watch to deflect bullets, Wonder-Woman-style. R r (If you like big watches, then don ' t listen to me. If you don ' t care, but want this watch anyway, then get ready for the predictable, "Good thing that watch is water-resistant to 200 meters, because you 'll need it when watch that drags you down to the bottom of the ocean "-type jokes from your friends, and even strangers.) r rAdditionally, the 1500PAW has some shortcuts, like the countdown timer. The PAW1500 only has a "yacht " timer, which means that you can only count down from a maximum of 60 minutes. Instead, the PAW1300 has a full 24-hour countdown timer, which is something I use frequently. To find this feature crippled in the PAW1500 was a disappointment. (Also, the altimeter only has a 20-record capacity in the PAW1500 compared to the 40 records in the PAW1300, but I don 't think many people will be affected by this.) R rThe PAW1500 does have one minor pro I should mention that: the information is displayed better-than it is on the PAW1300. Despite the watch 's large size, there is technically less space in the LCD display for numeric / text / icon information, but to me the information is presented with a cleaner layout and is more intuitive to read. Ie, I think it makes the best of what it has, and I wish that the PAW1300 had done a better job in this regard. R also short: if you are looking to get a cool outdoor-gizmo watch, this one will deliver heaps of features in spades. The solar power is awesome, and once you have atomic syncing, you 'll never go back. The other features, when you learn how to use them, are extremely powerful in combination. R rStill, I would advise that you be honest with yourself. Do you really need 200m water resistance, and calculators for tides and moon-phases? (And do you really want a watch the size of a beverage coaster?) If not, then I would recommend that you take a look at the PAW1300 series. It 's considerably cheaper, and the size is less obnoxious. r r (The PAW1300G-1V in particular is noteworthy in that the band is not integrated with the case, but can be swapped out for standard 22mm one-piece bands, like the Zulu or NATO straps.) r rThere have been many generations of Pathfinder watches over the past several years, and to me, feels like the PAW1300 the golden version: the Pathfinder done right (well 90% right). Unfortunately, the PAW1500 feels like an awkward, next-generation compromise in order to pack in those few extra features. Maybe the PAW1600 will be an improvement. R ras a final note: I see a lot of reviews for the Casio Pathfinders complaining about the lack of accuracy. Please note that these flights need to be calibrated to local conditions if you want them to be truly accurate, and even still, you should fully understand how the features work (and the basic science behind them) if you want to get the best use of these watches. If you are looking for a zero-maintenance, GPS-quality dashboard for you wrist, I would recommend looking at the Garmin Foretrex 101 (while a terrific piece of equipment, it 's not solar-powered, and will require changing the AAA batteries every 10 hours) ... ..

I like Casio watches. This one replaces the one I tired for almost 20 years. R ri love the atomic clock feature. It will automatically get a signal once a day. Perfect time. This months feature is too large. R rUnfortunately think altimeter was a toy. I get different Readings each day from the same location. The barometer isn 't much better. It has little Which graph shows up or down, and trends that some values. R rOverall, I want it. It looks good, keeps great time and have some toys to play with.

I love this watch with lots of features, especially like the digital compass. I want the temperature sensor would be more accurate, it seems to be higher than in reality all the time, might have something to do with body temperature. It 's inconsistency so that gives different temperature reading almost every time you press the button. I also will keep the light on more than 1 second. All features more or less useless if you 're in the dark and need to keep pushing to light. The only thing missing is that this has "Shock-G ".
