Reviews
I am generally satisfied with the watch. A few things I 'I noticed. As the barometric changes, so does the altimeter reading, I changed my height or not, but can be shifted manually. Furthermore, to obtain an accurate temperature reading, I had to take the clock out by body heat, but otherwise appeared to be accurate, like the compass.
Pros: Visually appealing, Nice accuracy for most sensors and Time Management r rCon: Alarm Hourly chime volume and too soft. Bought R rI recently, after this clock reading several reviews, the product and searches. A fairly accurate sensors. I had to barametric sensors remainder of the current pressure is correct. 25.8 showed where local broadcast weather and the barometer was at 29.9 ~ ed Compass was right on. Height varies considerably and is regularly checked against a GPS. Temperature must be removed to obtain a true temperature reading, since the body temperature warms and the clock, the sensor is close to the skin. I like the size and diplay it 's easy to read without glasses. Auto-light works well. The alarm volume is a different story. It is almost too softly to hear when you are in a very quiet environment. I thought I could use this as a morning alarm, but I've still to hear it go off. Despite the strength of the clock, it is easy to carry and not too heavy.
I 've had this watch for over a year now and I ' ve truly enjoyed it. Never had any problems with it, and love all the great features. It 's incredibly durable and surprisingly not very heavy considering the somewhat bulky size for watches in this category. The solar power and the atomic timekeeping features are the best - never have to re-set the time or replace batteries. For those who have waterproof watches where batteries require replacement by factory authorized dealers, it never comes back the same once that original factory seal is broken. With the atomic timekeeping, you 'll have to worry about that. I also love the Auto EL backlight - very handy when you do 't have hands-free. As with any altimeter watch, I 've not found one that works too accurately, and this is no different. Definitely do NOT jump out of any plans with it. It 's more of a general idea to track one ' s ascent / descent for light Climbs in moderate elevations, but I wouldn 't rely heavily on it by any means. The compass feature has been pretty accurate, as well as the thermometer - just take it off and set it down for more accurate readings so it does not conflict with body temperature or wrist / body movement. The titanium band is not only incredibly tough year but it goes well with casual to Formal Attire. I wouldn 't waste time or money on the other models in the Pathfinder line - or any other "outdoors " "adventure " watches of any kind. This one offers the most features at the best price!
It 'sa great and difficult to observe. But it looks very nice. The compass works well. The altimeter is not really accurate, but it works well if you want to measure the differences in height. The barometer seems to work. Just what is the temperature is accurately given only if the clock is not) at the wrist (for a while. Your body temperature seems to influence the reading. But I hear that all clocks have a weather station with the same problem.
Buying high-tech watch a year ago because in my old Casio LCD Sun So I am pleased to report that the LCD is still bright. I agree rwith other than saying a review of atomic timekeeping rdoesn 't work in the whole world. It succeeded in the world. I travel several times a ra year to / from Europe and I do not have a problem with atomic timekeeping. RMY only complaint with this watch is that the black box in one year after the laughed very scratched. Glass in perfect condition after one year. Not a single scratch. I'll be 5 this value if the black would be more scratch resistant casing.
A bit on the heavy side, but a great tool, with snowshoes. Always the right time, no battery worries and the height and very accurate barometer functions.
I wanted a good looking, do not see it all. I saw the black plastic version of the clock and thought it was too big and heavy. I decided to check on Titanium. Surprisingly, the electricity meter, even on the verge of being very large, but not so great that I notice. I 've used it for a week and I'm starting to really like it. It has all the functions I want and I think the Casio finally broken the code on the receipt Atomic time signal. Previous atomic Casios had reception problems, this watch does. The only complaint I have is the pins on the watch band are cheap. The question I had is that when you push the pins out the wrist strap to adjust the length, the pins will fall out of the band once you take the links out and then replace the pins for the band. I had to "engineer " a solution. Keeps perfect time and the sensors are very accurate once you calibrate them to your location.
I am thrilled with this clock. So far it has performed fantastically. Ri am a pilot and fly watch this a lot. However, the sensors with the Pressurization and altitude extremes very well. When I land, and the door opens the clock is normally within + / - 100 meters from the right box height and .10 inches of mercury. It looks great, is easy to read, and the band is comfortable. The clock is big and I don 't have a big wrist, but the buttons in a very smooth fashion makes it plunges smaller than it is. This includes the sensor as well. I can 't wait to fish it!
This is my fourth Casio Triple Sensor Watch and keep getting better. Firstly, this is a flat out beautiful. It is a kind of reminds me of a fine, with its new BMW aerodynamic shapes and curves, and each body part and the transition band very well to each other ... My compliments to the chef. Atomic feature is excellent, and solar energy. Of course we all know by now that the temperature sensor is practically useless if it 's on your wrist, but that ' s expected. I guess I should have waited for the PAW1300T-7V, a slightly thinner and lighter, but again this can also be used as an offensive weapon, no doubt. The only true complaint I have, and in no way am I blaming Casio for this, the Auto Daylight Savings Time is now obsolete. Your timing seems to be based on the old calendar daylight savings time, and not a new recently implemented. Oh well, I still love the watch and I look forward to the next Casio Behemoth.
This item was sent very quickly, well packaged, exactly as described and I am very pleased with customer service and product provided.
In my opinion, this 5-star (or maybe 4.5 with the clock that need to be removed to obtain an accurate temperature reading) ... however, I found nothing out there with the functionality of this watch. He is a winner!
I bought this watch for my husband as a gift. Because he loves all the bells and whistles. This is a small instruction manual that makes for a fun read for your favorite tech-head. E 'rather large, but is very light for its size. Great price too!
I own several watches ... and one that has become my favorites. Was getting tired of replacing the super capacitor in my Seiko Kinetic. Casio was attracted by the solar charging feature. Display are fresh and easy to see ... The band is starting a bit too big for my wrist, but I can easily remove a link to a push-pin. The body of the watch is pretty big compared to my Seiko titanium. But the band properly size the right size and comfortable. The solar charging time is fast and the syncro works well. The Barometer, Alt, Temp, Compass and features all well. Keep in mind, to get an accurate temp around, you get a watch from your wrist a few minutes. Kristal was pretty tough, I have whacked it a few times while working and it is not worse for wear. The alarm is loud enough to hear above the ambient noise. Backlighting is good in low light conditions. 5 Stars
I found the watch just fantastic. I had an old Casio with similar functions, but this Casio PAW1200T-7V model is incredible! Altimiter has good feet to 32,000 (the highest mountain in the U.S. note is 20,000 feet). Not having to worry about the wind or the battery is as large as the replacement of batteries in a watch that is certified for use underwater requires going to a jeweler. So I never have to worry about not having the correct time for the second no matter where I am is wonderful. In short, a great watch and well worth the money.
This watch is pretty much what I was expecting. Lots of useful features, has a comfortable feel on your wrist, and its weight is just right, doesn 't weigh down your wrist, yet has a nice solid feel to it. Rone if the big pluses is that it ' s solar-powered, so you 'll never have to worry about changing the batteries, as well as its automated synchronization with an atomic clock, so no need to adjust the time. rI was a bit disappointed by the fact that only the wrist band is titanium, the actual body of the watch seems to be molded out of a color-matched shock-resistant plastic. This was a bit of a letdown, while it looks great, you can 't help but worry about how sturdy the watch might be. ROverall, it ' sa good buy, and I definitely recommend it if you 're looking for a lot of features in an attractive box, at a reasonable price.
A couple of additional observations: r r-If you have a property of Casio 's Pathfinder-slot type in the past, you'll feel very comfortable with that. The interface is very consistent with the previous ones. R r-The titanium band is great. It 's heavy light unlike traditional steel bands. R r-This watch looks more cumbersome than the previous Pathfinders, due in large part for its silver. It is slightly longer but slightly narrower. E 'but no thicker than the previous generation watches. R R-dial is actually lower than previous Pathfinders, but the time display is actually larger. LCD is sunk deep into the board so watch tends to cast shadows around the edges. Compared to a previous generation Pathfinder, but the LCD is a bit 'less.
Fine Solar Powered Atomic Time-piece, compass, barometer, thermometer and altimeter. He is charged as he sat in a sunlit part of the house during the night. It also gives all day, even if I am outside for short periods of time between the vehicle and the building.
I bought this watch after seeing the Skymall catalog for $ 380. Of course, I knew I could find cheaper and $ 215 did it! The watch is exactly what I thought it would. The fact that it is solar and kinetic, not like my last is a huge improvement. I use the altimeter and barometer all the time. The biggest problem I found is that the atomic clocks around the world have not the beach than Denver does. Therefore, the coverage is minimal outside the U.S. However, that said, the watch appears to keep time fairly accurately for a while. R rthe watch dial is also quite large. It took me a few days to get used to. R rFinally the thermometer leaves a little to be desired, as you take the watch off for a couple of minutes to get an accurate reading of temperature, if it measures the temperature of the top of your wrist. R rOverall, I like the show and it 's what I expected it to be.
I was afraid I 'd have a hard time getting the signal coverage in Toronto, Ontario. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the watch has no problem of synchronization with the Fort Collins, Colorado transmitter every night, while I leave it near a window facing southwest. It 's nice to have a wristwatch that is within a fraction of a second off a reference atomic ... User interface is well designed, and all functions work as advertised. The only drawback I could find is that you can 't show both the date and day of week, at the same time. Thus, for a watch of $ 200 + I 'd expect to see a matrix instead of a 7-segment LCD readout for time, there is an array of point there, but it is only used for date and altitude and barometric pressure charts. As another reviewer noted, it isn 't easy to remove links from band. However, 5 minutes (plus $ 5) trip to a local jeweler took care of that. All in all, a watch of high quality.
The clock configuration required very little outside the box. She was running and accurate. I had to change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit and meters on foot. The guidelines took some time, but the change has been easy to accomplish. R rPositives: The LCD is more accurate and easy to read with a large number. The characteristic of the compass is accurate, and the barometer seems to be too. The countdown is a must have for me. The feature that has the light turns back on when you turn your wrist to look at the watch is pretty cool. For me these qualities with a "5 ". R rNegatives: I had to take two links out of the band, and there were no indications that it was so difficult and the pieces are small reeeeeal. The altimeter me 400 feet in my living room and reading and one 600 feet and another. The thermometer captures the warmth of your body, so it must be removed and set aside for about 45 minutes to get a room temperature accurately. The auto-light feature doesn 't work in all lighting conditions and the button light is flush with the watch ... Very difficult to find in the dark ... button raised would help. At that time I would call these two functions "2 ". R rOverall: This is a good watch. It is bigger than ordinary watch, but it is attractive and easy to read. It may be overvalued, but so far I am happy I bought it. R r (I had the watch for about three months now .. It is a big watch. J 't use the many additional features, and the black area around the crystal has some scratches that leave Metal Show through, but I'm always happy to watch.) r r ((I was looking for a year now. never had to set the time or worry about anything. It's great to work!))
