Reviews

I have had the watch for several weeks. It was easy to set and has kept perfect time. It is a handsome watch and is light weight. It has a double mechanism to prevent loss on the watchband. I am pleased so far.

This watch is one of the gems of the hundreds of watch models designed and produced by Casio. Its digital display is large and clear and its buttons are easily accessible. It is lighter and more compact than other Pathfinder watches and it is packed with features. r rThe benefit of being solar powered is not so much for the fact that you don 't have to buy batteries, but more for the fact that the watch never needs to be opened (thereby reducing its waterproof integrity). r rif you live in North America, Europe, Russia or Japan the atomic timekeeping feature makes timekeeping reliable and worry-free. Unfortunately users in Africa, the Middle East, Australia and remote areas of the globe will not have access to this feature. For example, the watch would / could not access a signal in the Yemen (Kabul, Afghanistan) time zone. r rThe watch band is titanium and is of reasonably good quality, although it doesn 't feel as solid as a stainless steel band (which is also Heavier). Prospective buys should also purchase a cheap watch band pin remover (not more than $ 5) to remove or add links to the band. While this can also be done at a Jewell, it may need to be done so again given their cheap price makes it just not economic to own one yourself. r rThe electroluminescent backlight works great. r rThe only drawback is that the alarm is not loud enough. This is common with most solar powered watches and sealed. It 's not a show stopper though. I would definitely recommend this watch to someone else.

I originally purchased the casio paw 1300 1V with the rubber band, and ended up trading it in for this model with the titanium band. I have to tell you the titanium band is much better and it seems as though the watch fits better. All of the functions of the watch work great and accurate. As said in previous remarks do you have to take the watch off to get the exact temperature reading but other than that barometer and altimeter work fine. I was really happy with Amazons packaging and delievery service, the watch had more protective plastic around it than needed but hey it kept the watch prestine! I have nothing but good things to say for this watch. I'm heading up to Big Bear tomorrow and will be using it for my hike to the peak!

Spent much time other clocks, and this seemed the best value for the features offered - and had the best ratings. My wife bought it for me and I could 't more satisfied. Out of the box, the right is the compass and the altimeter is only 20 m. From the Google Earth elevation for my house. Haven 't traveled with it yet, but I ' ll try it abroad next month. Despite the size of the clock is very easy and I forget I 'm pay. For the search to Suunto watches or the like, I highly recommend looking at this model, see clearly what is better to have customer reviews. I appreciate the Amazon customer reviews when I go shopping, so I thought I 'd to contribute yourself!

I have been watching this for a year now so I could write about my experience with it. I am satisfied with this watch in general. The time is super accurate. Super world time function well because of all the travel I do. This feature allows the compass several times in my hunt so I like it. I hope it remains on the screen a bit longer. I don 't use the barometer often so I can ' t write much about it except that the graph that shows the falling and rising pressure good. R rNow to counter. The first thermometer almost useless unless you take it off and let it sit away from your body for a while. I was hunting in a tree last week and the hour hand indicates 80 degrees. I took it off his wrist and let it sit in the branches for about 30 minutes and 80-40 reading down. You draw your own conclusions. Another deficiency is that the metal body clock is soft and easy to hack if you come in contact with rough surfaces such as concrete or brick. Metal band after marching a little to be full because scrathes and softness but I do not care. You may be able to save a few dollars less and get a new one if you are not watching 't need a compass function. Overall, I love and depend on him a lot.

The watch is OK so far. The Pathfinder purchase followed my purchase of a G-shock solar / radio. The G-shock 's rubber protection for the watch ' s pushbuttons failed after two years. By changing the titanium watch band 's length I found it be be difficult Because of the two-piece link pins. The pin parts are very small. One small part was misplaced. After hours on the web and phone with Casio 'support "I found that Casio did not have the pins or parts. They suggested that I pay $ 105 to get a new band.

Great Clock for the price. My friend bought the same clock some time ago from Sears for $ 400. I paid only $ 211 with shipping. RI use when I fly the connections necessary to get to 3, although in my wrist fit.

I read several reviews about this watch and iI really wasn 't sure about it. But I took a chance and ordered it. I was surprised that the quality of this watch is so good. I have owned a few Casio watches in my time and they were good, but this is the first time in a long time that I have had a chance to own this type of watch. I am very satisfied with it. I only wish they could improve the difference from when you are wearing the watch to take temp reading and the Bar seems to be off, for my reading area, the Bar doesn 't enough to bring down when your not wearing the watch. But I love the compass, the car alum, the fact that I can Set the time according to the World "setting. And the best fetcher that I truly love is the solar charged battery. Now my wife wants a Baby-G that is the style she likes but with solar charge. But unfortunately the model she likes doesn 't come with the solar option. Maybe if Casio can make this watch with the solar I would most defiantly order it. The model she likes is: Casio Women 's Gem Baby-G Analog Dial Sport Watch # BGA100-8B. Casio So if you decide to offer this model with the solar power option, please let me know, [...] r r rThanks

Hi, r ri bought this clock 1 years ago, and so far is great, I'm mainly using the compass and watch this was helpful, as the thermometer will be as stated in the comments above to remove the clock couple of minutes by the wrist before getting the correct temperature. R rPrice / quality is gr8

I bought this after a lot of research. And I'm so happy with this product.

I'm usually more happy than before the purchase after the purchase, but this time I was happy after the purchase, too. This watch is all that will be advertised. I've checked old and this is true at each time ... hours just in time + -20 meters so it might not be good for someone who needs to look more closely than that. I enjoy the ease of setting a new time zone. Yes, you have to have someone put the right amount left wrist as a watch would be suitable as you like, but that's what we expect from the various watches. I want to watch a durable, and looks ok to wear every day as a watch and one that is not too large. This watch fits all these criteria. I also like the quick and turned off the light. Imitation is not disappointed me at all if you are looking for this type of watch, stop looking and buying.

After much research I chose between Casio and Suunto figure on the Suunto equivalent because of it 's well-documented history of unreliability. While Casio is said to have less precision sensor, a computer says that is broken has no use whatsoever. Besides, I did a test today indicates that the Casio is a tool accurate weather itself. R rAnyway is a well made, easy to use watch with many desirable features. Ti I especially like the band has low odor properties of steel without the weight. The operation is fairly simple if you have had experience with digital watches in general and in particular casios. I found myself consulting the manual just to watch a few abbreviations or codes that appears shows while I was playing with it. R rMuch has been said about the Casio 's low precision and resistance to major environmental changes. Testing the compass was easy. I just found a local map that showed me the magnetic declination (the points of view toward the magnetic north) and compensate for this. I checked the watch against a GPS after he was spot on. To test the pressure sensor calibrated my watch, I l 'cheating at sea level corrected reading my local weather station (KCAMURRI9, 1 mile away) and used for the card to set my reference altitude. Incidentally, the watch measures the absolute pressure by default and thus compare with your local weather reports, which are adjusted for sea level, without sizing it will always give you results that are extinct. But in my experience. I tested the sensor by the gel during the shows 30 minutes below the lower temperature of the watch can measure (14 F). After that I went out and indicated in my garden in sunny So Cal desert noon during 15 minutes. The final temperature was 102 F. The show easily passed through almost 100 degrees of temp change with this test. The results are the Casio 's Syncd barometer stayed with the weather station and elevation remained the same too. My conclusion from this test is that the watch is true that if you have calibrated to local parameters (and you have to do with watches like other manufacturers).

I love Casio watches for about 20 years, when I saw the fist PAW1300T-7V, I decided to try it. I need to watch that was light enough and easily readable. could not be better!

Great watch. That the Amazon is cheaper than anywhere locally by about $ 100.

It 's great to see the price! I've had this watch for a few months. And the solar cell has been working hard, and kept constantly Battry fully charged. I live in the Bay Area, and never had problem with the atomic clock synchronization (except the first night I put together my iPhone, and radio reception was completed by the mobile RF leg). I realized that I was unable to sync when I was traveling in Greece, though (which was quite far from the clock in Germany). I also like the look and light weight of the titanium band. The only thing I was not happy was that I had to manually adjust the compass when I first arrived, for some reason was off by a long way (even after adjustment for declination).

This watch has a lot of resources still ISN 't too bulky to run or bicycle ride.

I have two other Pathfinder watches. The only problem I have with my other Pathfinders have been receiving the batteries changed and that will mark the exact time. Since changes to the battery, I would have sent them away several times and made myself several times as well. After about 4 or 5 changes of the battery plastic boxes tend to start as you strip out the screws on the back of the clocks. It seems that every month you receive these watches 30 seconds or more of rest, generally faster than the exact time. R GH was happy to see a site that would not be necessary to change the battery every 1 to 2 years and cars located atomic clock time. R PAW1300T-7V has rthe fulfilled all my expectations so far and I like the smaller size and better appearance of titanium. Now you can use the same clock or casual dress and not look like you have a "diver " see. R rthe dead time on my GPS and second matches. R rthe thermometer is worthless unless you take the watch off for another 15 minutes or less so it can adapt to temperature. I can 't understand why this technology in a watch doesn ' t allow precise temperature while using the clock. This is the case with all of my and my Pathfinder Lacrosse XG55 too. The thermometer in my truck is right Once you begin to move, even with the sun shining on it and driving on the hot pavement. R rthe barometer is fairly accurate, at least, to be placed in increments of 05 instead of 01 increases as my XG55 Lacrosse ago. R rthe altimeter is not very precise and must be restarted every day if that would even be close, but only allows adjustments in increments of 20 feet. Puts you down if often very close, but my high altitude can be a few hundred to a few thousand feet every day. I understand that this is a problem with all the watches as the method used to calculate the altitude is not very accurate. R rOverall one of the best watches I've owned. It seems incredible and perfect weather has not let a few extras to boot and most importantly, no change of the battery!

Pros: Relatively small / normal size compared to other watch, great features and good looks, light weight Titanium by wrist you wear comfortable, good for outdoor / everyday use or for business casual / semi-formal occasions makes one cool very practical and reliable, very good prices. Worth buying. R rCon: Given all that, none that I can imagine.

I wanted a watch outdoors with a good compass and an altimeter. First the watch comes with a small scratch on the ring around the glass. Not bad enough for me to return. Not too difficult to configure, but the calibration of the compass and height were away. The instruction manual is not very clear about how to restart the calibration. The buttons to scroll between functions are not working well. R rWith problems mentioned above and the economic aspect of the guard, I decided to return it.

I own five or six watches and this is the only one I wear anymore. I don 't think it ' s too much hyperbole to say that it 's the best watch on the planet - for any amount of money. I suppose that if all you want is wrist bling, then maybe you should go elsewhere, but if you want features and functions, this is the watch. r rit Synchronizes the time, it has a compass, barometer, thermometer and altimeter. I use the compass and altimeter frequently, and that 'sa big reason this watch is indispensible. The stopwatch is easy to access and the countdown timer is also very useful. It 's lightweight - especially for how many functions it contains. There are so many cool features that it 's easy to forget that it never needs batteries because of the solar charging. It has an alarm and a backlight (backlight and a hands-free mode). R rI travel across time zones quite often and it 's really convenient to be able to just switch between zones. I challenge anyone to find any watch to match up with this one. I 'll buy another one of these as soon as Casio makes one with GPS and a depth gauge ...

Casio Men 's Pathfinder Multi-Band Atomic Solar Silver Watch # PAW1300T-7V is provided in the specifications of the Amazon, as weighing 9.6 ounces There was an error converting grams to Oz. The true weight of the watch is 3.4 ounces

I 've got a bit of a fetish watch, but tend to be loyal to a clock that I have been in soil for years. My beloved Seiko was ruined after two decades of reliable service by an inept repairman, so you 've been looking for a new partner everyday. Requirements: Rugged, reliable, feature-rich, yet handsome enough for everything from outdoor activities to formal business meetings. Lighting. The ability of double time, ideally with the city code time-zone selection. And the gadgets ... I love gadgets on my watch. R Rafter a lot of research included semi-obsessive lurking here, I found what I was looking at the Titanium PAW1300T-7V. Previously I 'd been attracted by the features and technology from Casio Pathfinder, Suunto, etc, but put off by its size, the plastic is outdated, and the difficulty of replacing the bands get as necessary after a few years 'wear. In addition, most service technicians won 't guarantee the water resistance of a watch after replacing the battery, so a solar energy movement was attractive. R rthe PAW1300 series is considerably thinner than previous ABC (altimeter, barometer, compass) Pathfinder and others like Suunto, without loss of functionality, thanks to intelligent design, and titanium model 's metal band should sound last virtually forever. The clock 's compass display is a good example of how Casio has managed to fool the staff reduction, the double, overlapping LCD monitors that provide a fresh solution but bulky in another Pathfinder compass is replaced in the radial PAW1300s with a tick mark on the main LCD. Same functionality, half the thickness. R rObservations: r r in my house in West Coast, the atomic time update works every night even though they tend to use the watch to bed. The instructions 's advice to leave the window to watch on a nightly updates shortwave radio can be received WWVB ISN ' t necessary to my house 's lath and plaster construction. It was, however, necessary in a hotel in the past, with thick concrete walls and steel frames. No worries, though: the clock is highly accurate, even if they should lose the updates at night for some reason. It 'sa digital quartz clock, so you can count on him under any circumstances. The atomic updates milliseconds class provide the icing on the cake Obsessed accuracy crazy people like me. R RO World Time is essential to the role of road warriors like me. It 's very nice to be able to display local time (selected by scrolling through large city codes), and the time back home, while at the same screen. R r The barometer is fantastic. It 's like having your own weather station on your wrist. Love the way the baro graph displayed at all times - great for at-a-time view trend estimates. R r The altimeter works well, usually accurate to within 100 feet or so, but read the manual so that you understand how it works, how to use it, and how environmental conditions may affect its accuracy. Since it 's based on barometric pressure, changes in climate will affect their promotion or lecturas.En walk in who are concerned about the accuracy, take the extra few seconds to calibrate against known elevations occasionally Waypoint time. It 'sa process of ten seconds. Indeed, the altimeter is a good tool for evaluating the airlines. The lower the effective height in the cabin cruiser, most of the company values their comfort and health. R r, a review I 've seen elsewhere that complains about the band not being able to go over a wetsuit sleeve is quite annoying. First, it 's not a diver ' s watch. It 's not specified market or for diving and, frankly, I ' d be worried about the safety of any diver (and his friends!) Who is so clueless about an essential piece of equipment. 100 million water resistance is good for swimming and diving, but I repeat: It 's not a diver ' s watch. And diver 's watches generally have widely adjustable rubber straps in place and forget about the size of metal straps, so complaining about the band are prima facie evidence of people to avoid diving. R ro recharge the solar battery of great works. (The solar cell is cleverly configured as a decorative ring around the screen that offers a contrast to the tick-marks and alphanumeric labels that the edge of the screen.) I 've yet to see anything but the usual maximum Despite playing with the clock! 's features and the frequent use of the backlight. R r The compass works well too, quickly and accurately. (Be sure to maintain the standard view and read the manual to greater satisfaction.) R r, stopwatch, alarm and calendar features generally similar works as expected. R r The thermometer works fine if you leave the watch on your wrist for twenty minutes or more - for example, next to your sleeping bag when camping so you can check the temperature when you wake up. Its purpose is not really 't to measure environmental conditions, but to compensate for pressure sensor calibration, a small piece of silicon piezoresistive the size of a grain of salt if digging in the triple sensor assembly. Piezoresistive sensors measure strains, such as pressure on the diaphragm, due to water pressure. But they have a temperature dependence, so that the thermometer is primarily intended to monitor the clock 's temperature in the wrist instead of ambient air, and made available as a read is an advantage. If the ambient temperature is important to you, take it for a while. R r button backlight on 's duration is a bit short, but is offset by the ability to activate the backlight automatically just by tilting your wrist. This function is easy to activate and deactivate, too. I would like the button on the lighting was a little nugget or something in it to make it easier to locate in the dark. And a choice of lighting in second place, as is found in most others, it would be nice to have ... but I suspect that the engineering has been omitted as a choice for battery life. Shrug. R r The buttons are easy to work and sensibly presented. R ro Comfort: Excellent. The construction and materials are first rate, with a pleasant touch of acabado. It 'sa very handsome watch, and not like most of the great players of this class. He has no problem sliding into a fist shirt ... , But I want them out, for the best solar charging and maybe, Let 's forehead, to show it off a little. It 's head-turner. R r The band uses a pin rare agreement, make sure your wrist sizes who knows what he is doing. I suspect that people are posting a review once in a while here and there who have complained of falling pins are the victims of clueless technicians who are not familiar with this type of pin-and sleeve arrangement, also used by Seiko in some of their models. R There are other tricks ro intelligent engineering that, presumably, in order to maximize battery life in a diluted basis. The screen, for example, goes blank in the dark, then immediately return to automagically if room lights Come On (And of course, pressing the button on the lighting). You have to be quick to catch it stop! R Tirant in all, I 'd give the watch to 10 of 10. Good work, Cassius. The PAW1300 series is a world-class achievement ... ..

I bought this watch in February, after extensive research and reading reviews, and has used every day since then. Overall, I am very pleased. I don 't use all the resources (for example, an altimeter), but it ' s nice to have the option and extra gadgets. Casio - why not add the feature in the phase of the moon, as you 're at it! My wife 's 4th grade teacher and said the gadget phase of the moon would be a nice feature to have so that she could anticipate the full moon and be prepared for your children to be a bit undisciplined. R rPros: Titanium band does is acceptable for use with a shirt and tie; compass is very accurate, have multiple alarms is great, being able to display two time zones on the same screen is very useful. The barometer readings are very accurate, but obviously are effecten when you 're going outdoors to indoors. But if the walk or the dog for the day, the use of sa 'perfect. R rCons: I tried to remove some links for me and failed. I removed links to several clocks before, but after many attempts to remove links on the PAW1300T-7V, I was afraid that I 'd Permananta damage (at the clock and link removal tool) so I took it to my local jeweler - 5min and 10 dollars later, the watch fit like a glove. Furthermore, the use of Atomic Sync doesn 't always work. If I let the clock on my night stand (next to the window), before I go to bed, he only receives a signal and automatically synchronize once a week. However, I 've had better luck syncing manually when in the early morning outdoors.

I don 't want to repeat what everyone else said before me. I'm sure by the time you read this review for you already are familiar with how big this clock. R rThe one thing I would mention is that this clock has a lot of functions and it is hard to remember how each function works. But if and when you receive this clock, it is has been one of the best devices ever built. R rSome things that other people may have not mentioned already, this clock has a tilt sensor, so that your clock in the dark view simply by tilting your wrist to you. My wife thought that was the coolest features. R rAnother interesting thing is that if you change to remove the back cover to the battery, the clock would actually see a display "cover is open ". I thought it was cool. R rLastly, I love the titanium band. This helps really see that. And the 24-hour barometric pressure trend of the plot is really cool. You are practically a weatherman on foot, if you use this clock to have. R Ryou would love this clock.

Large, easy to read face and lighter than you 'd expect from such a sized watch. Easy to use functions.
