So far, I 'm very happy with the watch. This is my second Casio, the first was just a regular digital watch that has lasted 26 years, it has been open only three times, the first two times that to replace the battery, the third time the man said he died. I hope this one does as well.

Nothing much to say, I really like it. R-Not small not large. RI probably only use stop watch. R could fully charge when the summer comes. -R is better for the people who actually spend time in nature

Unfortunately, I had to return this item for defectivve quality. It dropped after two days informal settings. It was extremely hard to press the setting buttons, manual tjhe was lower for intstructoipnal purposes. For example, it said you can use 12 hour or 24 mode for the digital watch but did not expalin how to set it from one to the other. It arrived blank and could not get it to respond until I removed and reinstalled the battery. Later, 2 days later the battery Show Low again and blanked out all teh settings. Could not get it back. Return it for credit.

Excellent watch. Does everthing I need to do and keep the right time. I like the features and simple initial configuration. The functions easy to use and does not like my Suunto Metron when I want to know the altitude, air pressure or the way I don 't have to press the button until I get the right function to appear. That is cheaper than the Suunto with more functions. Plus it was a bit more rough to survive the current environment I was in.

Great watch, easy to use. I love the small size of this Pathfinder THE MOST. Very comfortable to wear all day long. I have used it on several 10 + mile hikes and it has the best features that really work. Amazon had the best prices with the fastest shipping.

THIS WATCH DOES IT ALL! SOLAR POWERED, ATOMIC, BAROMETER, ALTIMETER, THERMOMETER, COMPASS, G-SHOCK. THIS MODEL IS LIGHT ON THE WRIST AND IS MUCH LESS LIKELY TO GET THINGS ON snagged - IT RIDES SO CLOSE TO THE WRIST BECAUSE ITS THE NEW LIGHT WEIGHT VERY THIN MODEL. IT HAS A GREAT MINERAL CRYSTAL THAT IS HIGHLY SCRATCH RESISTANT. IT ALSO HAS A NEW FUNCTION THAT YOU CAN HAVE TO ACTIVATE ITS BACK LIGHT TURN ON WHEN YOU TURN YOUR WRIST TO A VERTICAL ANGLE ABOUT 90 DEGREES. VERY HANDY. THE WATCH CAN HOLD A 5 MONTH CHARGE ALL FUNCTIONS KEEPING ACTIVE. WHEN THE BATTERY GETS LOW, IT SUSPEND THE ATOMIC SIGNAL AUTO SEARCH AND JUST GIVES THE TIME WHICH IS MY CUE TO HOLD IT TOWARDS THE SUN FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO FULLY RECHARGE IT. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE. Unobtrusive IT IS AND IS HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL. GLAD I GOT IT. YOU WILL BE TOO!!

I love this watch. The radio settings are really working hours so 's always exactly accurate. The barometer and compass and so return so really work. The numbers are big and easy to read for a digital watch. It has neat features a lighting up when you tilt it. A tip; the Casio website has a downloadable owner 'manual which is much easier to read than the small seven languages packed booklet. R rther strange is only joking, it is solar powered. Perhaps it is extra-cool, or maybe all of the functions it uses too much power for a battery. Unfortunately, this is quite an annoyance - every couple of days that you make an effort to put it in strong sunlight to charge up the manual says put it out of your sleeve! Both watch plain old battery power will be more practical.

I like the built-in solar charger and atomic-clock calibration, BUT ... R1. I don 't like the second reading in a separate line from hours and minutes - it was a waste of time because it requires two looks. R2. Given the isolation of this ridiculous second reading, why not also show tenths of seconds? They 're such fun to explore. R3. I 'm HIGHLY disappointed that I can ' t have a temperature reading is always on (THAT 'S WHAT I THOUGHT I BUY !!!!) rhavinga to play with buttons for reading while (suspended too!) So annoying I hardly ever use r (ie, i 'ts Not true watch the temperature). RWhy could not 't have put temperature Casio wasted on empty space on the left was isolated second reading stupid? R rI thoughlessness hate, and this has too much to watch it. R (Not-for ways to survive the cold night-light comes on while watching suddenly rose into the air.) RI will send it back to Amazon if I wasn 't so lazy. R rI 'm even more disappointed that Casio has learned nothing since the temperature of their watches I tried out 20 years ago, which read the same incompetent altitude above the current air temperature. R rCasio, hiring thermal engineers (I know you do not have!) Rwho will ask you to: r1. Separating hours-back of body heat. (When I go running I kept watching my running belt, away from me.) R2. Get rid of people around the black surface 'Triple Sensor ' (they absorb sunlight). R3. Put a small move to blow air into the ambient air sensor, which must be installed in insulated U-shaped tunnel with air flow fast enough to really register air temp. You 'd want a filter dust in the tunnel, so maybe that's your excuse for botching it, in rare cases in Casio anyone actually considered how to make an accurate thermometer, something that the whole world knows century August r rif I 'd known Casio still produced this stupid design, I ' d never buy it. I suspect 20 years long enough to get the act together. Apparently I have to wait a century. R rCustomers see this or what is called the temperature Casio watches, rwith-hold your order and e-mail you Casio 'and wait for the real thing.

Is really concerned about size, it looks cool as hell, you only have a different band. working on finding a suitable replacement. Buy it you wont regret it.

This is a watch. Automatic time set, solar power, gadgets abound. I love it.

I bought this watch before heading out to the desert and the formation of survival. I have used this clock in some of the toughest and most intense situations, you might think. The watch is comfortable, slim, very useful as back-up aids to navigation, and great in all conditions. My only gripe when it is closed, if not placed near a window that will not sync spectrometry. Except that this watch is the most useful piece in my time. The countdown timer is great for reminding me to do the periodic checks at work, or to moisturize when mountain biking. The light switch is great when I'm doing work at night in dark areas and the need to control the time of entering into a register. Having the dual time display is useful when I'm flying so I can get items in GMT time zone or enter depending on the form. Reload solar is a great feature and a half I never worry about batteries. The altimeter, compass, barometer and are instruments of great and when they are out mountain biking, hiking, or just around its great to have. R rI am extremely pleased with this watch and recommend it to anyone looking.

Had this effect, to attend all functions is huge! And if he does not receive enough light will be dead at night. But since it 's atomic when he came around you has the right time. But it was too big for me. Perhaps Paul Bunyon would like.

I 'ma gadget guy and very excited about the watch. But I quickly discovered that Casio Men 's pathfinder Waveceptor Multi Band Atomic Watch will take a lot of time to learn. The matchbox-sized instructions are nearly 200 pages and cumbersome to use. R RSO here I love it, fantastic, multi-function watch, but the alarm won 't wake me up. And while I was grilling steaks, I 't know the clock stopped. R RI realized soon that's what I want in a watch are the main functions simple to use - but the additional accessories that be neat? However, the clock has finished - for me - being a frustrating and complicated high-tech gadgets. So I sold it to a great guy out and hiking. R rmy advice: Make sure it is the clock you want. R rFootnote: it is inexcusable that made it expensive Casio watches such as poor sound alarm. And why can 't put the instructions on the Casio - their website - easy to read full-page PDF file?

I like the look and features of the clock. At first she thought the color looked too green 'toyish ' but 's really not bad. I 'm happy with it. R GH have two complaints about this watch. First is its tendency over time if the sync signal of unemployment. I have other "atomic 'clock and my watch and paw1300 has the worst accuracy of the internal clock. We lost about one second every two days, but still within Casio stated accuracy of + / -- 20 seconds / month. That 's the worst I ' ve seen in any type of quartz watches, so I synchronize regularly to compensate for drift. My second complaint is 's poor WWV signal reception sensitivity . My other Casio G-Shock Waveceptor Watch the feature can pick up the signal in most countries, but not my PAW1300. When treated together, side by side, the paw1300 success is perhaps 10% of time. r Rother my two complaints, I like the clock. It looks good, fits well and has great features.

Having done his homework and chose the Pathfinder. This decision was great because Casio has not disappointed with this piece. Without any additional accessories needed, the clock works as advertised.

I bought this clock on my trusty Suunto, which has served me for several years to replace. This clock is slimmer than the old one, and as far as basic functions, it seems as accurate, although the altimeter on the Suunto carried me through the mountains of Afghanistan, and I deal in less mountainous environment. The most important thing that has excited me was the solar energy, which will hopefully works because I need another clock, a battery every year that I had it. curious how this band keeps, how long before it is replaced. Overall, seems to have been a good buy.

really a high price for a big clock ... The only thing I wish it had had an accurate setting for altitude and temperature

Excellent watch - the Casio PAW1300-3V delivers the features as promised. I own an earlier model of battery powered and solar powered this new model works great. It is also great to have the time automatically kept current with the atomic clock located in Colorado. The stop watch, count down timers, alarms, back-light, compass, barometer, thermometer, and altimeter all perform great for a watch. I highly recommend this watch and the other similar models with these same features.

I owned two Casio G-Shock watches over a span over a decade. I always liked the G-shock, but looking light wing recently stopped working and it is time to try something with some extra features. After quite a bit of searching I paid the pathfinder (Paw model 1300 - 3v) and I think I made the right choice of staff. R rBefore really get the watch from Amazon I am certainly worried the total size of this clock. From my research I am somewhat afraid I would end up with a geeky watch the size of a dinner plate in my wrist. Furthermore, I don 't have a big wrist to start so it was a real concern. I was pleasantly surprised that Although the slightly larger circle than a standard clock, watch is not nearly as big as I imagined. In fact, the difference between this model (1300) and the previous model (1200) is the size. The 1200 is almost identical features but it is quite a bit dense than the newer model 1300. Pathfinder it sits well in my wrist and not look unusual. R rPractically speech, watch it has a lot of nice features I want, such as round, the automatic light display, atomic synchronization, and solar power to note a few. While I would easily buy this watch again, I can consider models with metal band. Because somehow tell it to price watch this I hope to have a little more elegance to it, if that makes any sense. Watch is fairly light weight and in any way Characteristically seem like a lot of other plastic-band pedestrian watches out there. That can be fine for those who want just a plainish looking watch, but in any way the metal band version can look a bit nicer, Though maybe not as ruggedly practical. R RI haven 't it be long enough to watch to judge the overall strength, but my former G-Shock watches are any indication, pathfinder should hold up just fine.

I am a female, but like the functionality of many watches made for men. I specifically wanted a digital compass, atomic time synchronization, solar power, and with at least one alarm and one timer. I don 't need nor want stuff like running laps and splits, etc.. rall the watches that have the features I have wanted all kinds of other things that are fun, but not necessary for me (altimeter, barometer, temp). And all those things make BIG watches (understandably). rso I live with the clunky BIG watch on my arm and all the males that comment on it (like "wow, what a big watch " or "why do you have such a big watch? "). rthe size is the reason for 4 stars and not 5 - and the only reason. This watch is fairly easy to learn to use (good instructions) - even for the features that I don 't use regularly. It has solar power, compass, temperature (when you detach it from your skin), barometer, altimeter, 5 daily alarms, countdown timer, timezones (1 local, one GMT), auto DST knowledge that needs "confirming " and has good backlight, plus some recording of data. It is reliable. It synchs to the atomoic clock just fine (when I make sure it 's near a window at night), and is very readable and not uncomfortable! Now, the next generation or two of electronics may help make it smaller, but then it would be harder to read with aging eyes! RI like it and would recommend it for anyone who wants the features it has and can live with the size. Note: This watch is big in diameter only. It is quite thin compared to others with same features. Got to fit all that stuff SOMEWHERE. Good watch.

I 've benn looking for a watch like this for years, it has everything I need Atomic timekeeping (do you have to define time ever), Multi-band, solar power don ' t the batteries needed! , Digital compass, altimeter, altimeter Memory, Altitude alarm, Barometer, thermometer, Low temperature resistant, off Full auto EL backlight with afterglow, Daylight savings on /, 5 daily alarm, countdown timer, Hourly signal time, Auto calendar, 12/24 hour format, and water resistant! for money is the best clock you can get!

I can verify that the 1300 's signal reception of the radio station WWVB is too bad. With the 08 November to complete the change back to standard time, the clock, along with my much cheaper Sam 's Club wall clock, having missed the boat. Both have yet to receive the signal and set back one hour. It's a real shame. R issue rAnother I have, although not Casio 's fault, is the graph on the display barometric first team. If you go into office buildings to work under pressure, forget the show. Given the frequency with which it updates (and quite low) you will need to be out of commercial office buildings for several hours to get any useful trend line from the display are measured. R rFinally, the problem of temperature measurement, that all these clocks seem to have. They use the metal support and the human body as a heat sink to stabilize the measurements are measured. That's fine and good, if these barometric readings were useful. However, to begin reading the temperature of the air, you need the watch for about 5 minutes to get it away from your body heat. Too bad .. how does one of the last elements of the clock a little less useful. This need for contact with skin, and how the band is designed means you can not get one of those nice "infinitely adjustable to the right size " bracelets, but are stuck with a factory, which seem to be too loose or tight all the time. R rthe only real benefit I 've Had measure is that it will not require new batteries, but since my lats Timex spent 4 years in a battery, I'm not "sure that is a blessing , and as long as a traditional battery run, I 'd better wait for a new watch would be available. Perhaps one that can show the room / temp outside without me take the watch, and one that can actually receive the signal from hours WWVB reliable.
